'Field' Manufactured WWII Polish Air Force Wings

There is no pretence that these are an officially made Pair of Wings. No fake makers names or stamps, they are what they are, a 'Theatre Made' pair of Polish Air Force Wings.
At a time when the exiled Polish Air Force had to make do and have their Insignia made in the field, this is the result...The nut is attributed to the Warsaw maker "G Sosnowski". My research shows that "Sosnowski" didn't manufacture Air Force insignia.
The off-set screw also points to a "Theatre" made piece.
It looks to have been made from either silver or silver plate with a gilded laurel.
