COMPLETE!! WWII SAAF Pilot Headset

At the outset I need to make one thing very clear; This is a complete WWII Pilot's Headset to ONE Airman of the South African Air Force. This comes as worn and exactly as it was when put into a suitcase at the end of World War Two.

The SAAF Airman has yet to be identified. His elderly lifelong friend (who sold me the headset) informed me he was always known to him as just plain "Jock"......."Jock" Smith. We believe his full title to be A.M.C Smith and that "Jock" had a Scottish background. That name is just visible on the inside of the Flying Helmet.......I/we are still looking to positively identify Jock and I will supply full written information based upon my correspondence with his friend.

THE ORIGINAL "TypeD" OXYGEN MASK IS PROBABLY THE FINEST EXAMPLE YOU'RE EVER LIKELY TO SEE!!
